Our Founder is a Disabled Military Veteran
American Veteran Energy was founded in 2013 by Rick Morgan, a disabled US Air Force veteran who proudly served his country for 20 years. While flying during operation Desert storm Rick was awarded the Air Medal. He was honorably discharged as an Instructor Pilot in the Air Force Reserves. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and became an Honor Graduate from USAF Pilot Training. Rick is currently a widebody captain for a Major US Airline.
Rick’s extensive project experience in building and managing diversified energy products and services includes commodities like natural gas, wind, and solar. As chief executive, Rick specializes in hedging solutions, asset optimization, and operational foundations.
